Alex lay flopped out across the bed his pajama pants riding low on his hips. He was holding his old guitar in one hand but was trying not to look down at it. He wanted to play or at least wanted to try and play but he didn't want to fail. He huffed a little he wanted to be able to play lullabies for his daughter.

Alex stood in the living room trying to settle himself down. He'd had a rough week worrying about Jen and all he'd really gotten done was upsetting himself. Now he was tired and his nerves were worn. Alex could only hope that things would look up a little bit soon. He ran his hands down over his face before flopping down on the couch with a sigh.

Alex lay snuggled up under the blankets, he was awake he had just decided to curl up comfortably. He was just wearing his boxers though he'd started out wearing a t-shirt that was draped over his arm on the nightstand. The dogs were curled up around his legs though he knew it was only because they were hoping for a snack.

Alex looked up at the front door to Gibbs' house taking a deep breath before making his way toward it. Jen wanted him to handle it so he was going to but he was going to give Gibbs a chance to have some input as well. He knocked on the door and waited.

Alex hummed to himself as he carefully tugged at his tie. He thought he looked pretty good in his suit and while most people didn't think a one month anniversary was a big deal but for them it was huge.
